Communication difficulties
Support where conversations regularly become tense, circular, defensive or difficult to repair.
Professional counselling
A steady and collaborative space for couples and relationships where communication, tension or disconnection has become difficult to navigate.
Relationships can become strained when communication breaks down, pressure builds or patterns of disconnection take hold.
Relationship support
I offer couples counselling and relationship therapy for those seeking to better understand and improve important relational dynamics.
This may include romantic partners, family members or, where appropriate, professional or working relationships in which patterns of communication, tension or misunderstanding have become difficult to navigate.
What couples counselling can help with
Support where conversations regularly become tense, circular, defensive or difficult to repair.
Space to understand repeated patterns of disagreement and what may be happening beneath them.
Support where disconnection, withdrawal or a loss of closeness has begun to affect the relationship.
Explore the impact of stress, responsibility, transition or external pressure on the relationship.
Develop a clearer understanding of each person’s experience without blame, judgement or taking sides.
Work towards greater clarity and alignment, whether that means strengthening the relationship or navigating change.
How couples counselling works
We begin by carefully understanding the patterns of interaction that may be keeping difficulties in place.
Sessions support a deeper understanding of each person’s experience and what may be influencing the dynamic.
The process supports clearer communication, more constructive relating and greater shared understanding.
